  Jamun is a delicious fruit with unique color and taste.  The sweet and sour burst of ripe fruit flavor is heavenly.  Jamun is also in season in India.  Use this best late season fruit in your ice cream, perfect for monsoons.  After eating this fruit, a purple spot is formed on the tongue.  Jamun ice cream tastes delicious because of its natural sweetness.  Jamun fruit ice cream is a very easy and highly nutritious way to enjoy this fruit.  Whether it is children or adults, everyone likes it. With the arrival of monsoons comes the sweet and sour plump fruit called Jamun.

INGREDIENTS


 1. Sugar 3 table spoon

 2. G.M.S.  Powder 1/2 table spoon

 3. C.M.C.  Powder 1/4 tsp

 4. Corn flour 1 table spoon

 5. Fresh cream 1/4 cup

 6. Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp

 7. Jambu pulp 1 cup

INSTRUCTIONS


 1. Separate the jambu from the pulp by hand and grind it a little in the mixer.  Grinding too much lime.


 2.  Take some milk and mix C.M.C, G.M.S, corn flour well.  Add sugar to the remaining milk and heat it.


 3. After heating, mix the milk with all the powder added and heat it till it boils for 2-3 and turn off the gas.


 4. Cool in cans and deep freeze


 5. Let it set..


 6. Once set, take out and churn on low speed with a hand mixer.  Now add cream, essence and churn on high speed.


 7. The quantity of ice cream will double.  Churn until the ice cream is soft and fluffy.  Place in a container and set in the deep freezer.


 8. When it is moderately loose, take out the jambu pulp and mix it and keep it to set again.  Serve once frozen.
