 About Puri Bhaji 

Puri Bhaji is one of the popular dishes and choices of many Indians. This heavy food is prepared differently in different states.  This semi-dry bhaji is known as Batka Bhaji.  It is served with puri made with wheat and semolina flour fried in oil, so this dish is called puri bhaji.  Flatbread is one of the essential food items in every Indian's daily life.  There are many ways to make puri such as deep-fried, pan-fried, or baked.

Potato Bhaji is a dry, flavorful potato curry made with carrots, green chilies, onions, ginger, tomatoes, and many Indian hot spices.  After making this delicious aloo sabji it is served with puri.


You can eat Puri Bhaji with rice, curd raita, or salad, in our house we sometimes serve it with onion slices, lemon slices, and coconut chutney. This is a great dish to serve for breakfast or lunch and dinner.

INGREDIENTS


Ingredients For Bhaji


  1. Large-size potatoes - 3


 2. Carrot - 2


 3. Peas - 1/4 cup


 4. Capsicum - 2


 5. Onion - 3 small


 6. Tomatoes – 1


 7. Green Chilli – 1 finely chopped


 8. Garlic - 5


 9. Ginger – 1 small piece finely chopped


 10. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp


 11. Salt - according to taste


 12. Coriander-cumin powder - 1/4 tsp


 13. Garam masala - 1/4 tsp


 14. Red Chilli – As per taste


 15. Cumin-Rye - For Ajmo Wagar


 16. Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp


 17. Oil - 4 tsp


 18. Sugar - according to taste


 19. Green Coriander



  Ingredients For Puri 



  1. Wheat flour - 4 cups


 2. Oil – as required


 3. Salt - according to taste


INSTRUCTIONS


Instructions For Bhaji

  1. First of all, put oil in a cooker and heat it, when it gets hot, add cumin seeds and asafoetida.  Then add onion, garlic, and ginger paste and saute for 1 minute


2. When you feel that the color of the onion has changed, add the tomato, green chilies, and diced capsicum and saute for 2 minutes.  Add all the spices and keep stirring for 1 minute. If you want to flavor pav bhaji, use pav bhaji masala.


3. Add potatoes, peas, and chopped carrots, mix everything well and fry on gas for a while and add 1/2 glass of water.  Add sugar to taste and stir.  Cook till the cooker whistles 2 times.  If you don't want to take all the vegetables, you can make bhaji by taking only potatoes, and peas.


Instructions For Puri 

  1. Sift wheat flour fine first, then add salt to taste and mix well, and yes add 3 tbsp oil as it will make your puri soft.


  2. Knead this flour with a fine cloth for 15 minutes until some flour does not swell.


  3. Then complete the round with the help of Velan.


4. Put a pan on gas and heat oil.  When the oil gets hot, deep fry the whole.  Here is your crispy yummy puri.


 5. Then enjoy this Puri Bhaji.  It will be fun if you mix it with buttermilk or curd.
