Khoya Roti / Mawa Roti Recipe for Kids Quick & Easy

 Mawa roti is a sweet mawa roti prepared from mola mawa and some other ingredients.  Mawa Paratha is a sweet recipe and perfect for festive occasions.  An authentic traditional recipe of Maharashtra.  Rich in flavor and made for a special occasion.  In our house this recipe is made on the day of Diwali, Sitala Satam or Janmashtami. I don't know but my mom makes it very well.

 

Mava roti

If you prefer to eat soft Mawa Paratha, you can eat it few hours after preparing it but if you want to eat crispy, you can heat it on low flame and the Mawa Paratha will become crispy.  You can store this sweet mava roti or khoya roti for 3 to 4 days. I enjoyed these recipes, you will too.

Khoya roti


INGREDIENTS 


 1. Wheat roti 4 pieces (leftover-roti),

 2. Cumin chopped round 50 grams

 3. Mola mao 25 grams

 4. Cardamom powder 1t.  spoon

 5. Nutmeg powder 1/2t.  spoon

 6. Cashew-almond powder 3t.spoon

 7. Coconut oil 3t spoon

 8. Desi ghee 1t. spoon


INSTRUCTIONS


 1. First heat a pan on gas and place a roti on it.  Then put a chopped round stone on it followed by mawa.


 2. Then add coconut flour, cardamom, nutmeg, cashew nut powder.  Then put another roti on top of it then apply ghee and fry it from both sides, till it melts.


 3. Then take it out on a plate and cut it into 4 pieces with a pizza cutter and fry it and save it.
