About aloo bhindi
This Aloo Bhindi recipe is a mildly spiced delicious dry curry made with bhindi(ladyfinger), potatoes, and spices. North Indian cuisine includes simple and flavorful vegetables. Alum Bhindi is a simple vegetable but holds a premium position. This dish is very popular in other regions and states of India. It is made daily for lunch and dinner. INGREDIENTS
1. ladyfinger - 200 gms
2. potato - 2 (cut into pieces)
3. Onion - 1 chopped
4. Tomato - 2 chopped
5. ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
6. garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
7. Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
8. chili powder - 1/2 tsp
9. Amchur - 1/2 tsp
10. Kasturi Fenugreek - 1/2 tsp
11. oil - 3 tbsp
12. Salt - as per taste
INSTRUCTIONS
(1) Heat oil in a pan. Add potatoes and fry till they become crispy. Take out the fried potatoes and remove their oil. Add chopped okra to the same pan and cook until soft.
(2) Cook till Take it out of the pan.
(3) After this, add finely chopped onion and fry till it becomes transparent. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes away.
(4) Add chopped tomatoes and add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and turmeric powder to it. Fry till the oil separates.
(5) Now add cooked bhindi and potato to the mixture of spices and mix well. Sprinkle garam masala, dried mango powder, and salt, and fry for a minute.
(6) Garnish the vegetable with crushed kasturi methi. The vegetable is ready!
